I don't have an answer, but I would try three things at this point: 

- Check your Samba permissions to make sure all guests can print to
  the shares. 
- Take a look at what communication is happening with tcpdump or
  wireshark. 
- On the Windows guests, try deleting and re-adding the printer, to
  make sure your Windows clients can *still* see the printers. 

Sorry I can't be more helpful. 

I thought you could print via CUPS directly, without using Samba at
all? Maybe I am being stupid. It will work for standalone networked
printers (http://<ip address>/ipp) but maybe not for printers attached
to workstations.
