I bought myself an arduino kit a few months ago, but other than browsing some of the docs, I'm still at a loss at where to start to actually make anything neat/useful. While I can probably figure out the code, very little of my experience translates to physical electrical systems (and starting from zero means you don't know where to start looking).<br></div><div><br></div><div>My intended project was motion/sensor triggered LED strips on the underside of stair runners, to illuminate a dark stairwell on demand without blinding you in the middle of the night.
