<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div>Laravel is actually a PHP web framework, analogous to Symfony, CakePHP, ...etc.<br><br></div>The dependency thing is because Laravel incorporates several other components underneath, bundled with it. <br><br></div>I used a product that was built using Laravel briefly last year for a project that never saw real use due to business reasons, so don't know enough to help. There was no vagrant or hometead, just Laravel and the app written in it.<br><br></div>Have you checked out the documentation?
