<br>Here is what happened when I created an NTFS file system on it. It initializes the disk to zeros, and reports no errors. So it must have remapped them. Though, dmesg does not report any errors during the time mkfs is running, so that is that ...<br>

In any case, hold on to your Samsung harddisks. I really miss Samsung<br>
harddisks. They have 1 in 10^15 error rate, excellent for Raid.<br>
