As noted earlier, the 'core issue' is resolved.<br>

I still have an issue w/localhost on the Linux box.<br>

ping 127.0.0.1 OK<br>

ping localhost OK<br>

FF broswer: localhost fails<br>

FF browser: localhost/index.php fails<br>

FF browser: localhost/<other file in /var/www> fails<br>

Where do I go with LAMP? <br>

Like Diogenes, do I look for an "honest man"?<br>
