<p>The nexus series of phones are by far the best Android experience from my point of view they are unlocked by default. </p>
<p>I need to add that when I had a galaxy s 1 I had to sim unlock first before I could root. </p>

Fortunately, the device I'm looking at seems to be sold unlocked by all of the carriers I've been checking out.<br>
