So far I'm lovin' it.

I'm also finding the Unity interface just gets in the way of doing things. It
makes me a lot less productive, esp. when I can't remember the exact name
of the "thing" I want to launch to get something done.. Plus the unity bar
or interface just won't go to my main screen... and half the time it doesn't
even turn on my external monitor.

I have done in-place upgrades on Ubuntu and those haven't always gone
so smoothly..... so rolling updates sounds okay with me.
X on Debian testing was completely useless for several months.
Admittedly, this was a time of substantial changes in the X system, but
if you need your computer to work reliably all the time you might want
to look for a more "stable" OS.

Those dire words said, I have not had serious difficulties recently and
really do appreciate Debian testing for keeping kernels and apps up to
date.
