<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><P>I have an old computer that I keep on LTS I upgraded from 8.04 - 10.04 and it went quite well.</P><P><BR></P><P>The only issue was with the flashplugin-nonfree. It complained and stopped the upgrade before the cleanup.<BR></P><P><BR></P><P>I had to manually remove it (Delete the package files and purge it) and continue with the clean up manually.</P><P><BR></P><P>Another thing is: I use LXDE on that computer, but the lxde repositories under ppa.launchpad stopped two versions ago, now it is under the lubuntu-desktop repository.</P><P><BR></P><P>I'm still working on the clean up to ensure that it updates OK from now on.</P><P><BR></P><P>But I can say that the upgrade went smooth for being between LTS versions.</P><P><BR></P><P>I am now helping my dad remotely to upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 on his old laptop. <BR>And with 10.04 being an LTS, I am most likely going to skip the next release<BR>or two.<BR><BR>Only the server remains on 8.04, and that is because of PHP 5.3 which has <BR>issues with some contributed Drupal module (pass by reference). Someone<BR>
