So it does not boot, but is is accessible if you boot from something else?<br><br>If you are able to boot and can run:<br><br>fdisk /dev/sdX<br><br>And see partitions, then you can wipe it using:<br><br>dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sdX<br>
<br>That overwrites everything on the drive with random data, and is as safe as you can do it without physically destroying the drive.<br><br>If the drive is not accessible, the above does not apply of course.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">
