Yes, 1% on the desktop is about what I have been hearing for a year or so. But I have been seeing less that that in non tech sites.<br><br>Here is statistics from a few sites for the last 30 days or so, via Google Analytics.<br>
<br>A. A large site that gets 58 million page views a month. This is a not tech site (likely to see Linux overrepresented on those), and not a design site (where Mac will be overrepresented).<br><br style="font-family: courier new,monospace;">

<span style="font-family: courier new,monospace;">5. Nintendo Wii: 0.50%</span><br style="font-family: courier new,monospace;"><span style="font-family: courier new,monospace;">6. iPod: 0.12%</span><br style="font-family: courier new,monospace;">

Even the PS3 has more share, but it is perhaps due to the demographic for this site (teens, youth).<br><br>B. Another site with a very similar demographic, 40 million page views a month, but far less visits shows this:<br>
