</div>Probably easier to get the largest fan you can fit into your case and<br>
run it at low speed. Most modern hardware/drivers support throttling of<br>
power hungry components so there might not be a lot of heat production<br>
at idle.<br>

The old Myth box (Antec NSK1380/AMD x2-3600/M2N-VM) has a 120mm fan on<br>
the power supply and a fan on the CPU. I can't hear it from its location<br>
under the TV.<br>
<br>
The Acer Revo has a fan, but it is imperceptible. The Wii beside it is<br>
what makes all the noise.<br>
