Thanks to Andrew Cant's presentation last evening, and Richard Weait's nudging, I was piqued into writing a module that allows you to monitor Drupal sites using Nagios.

The project for it is here http://drupal.org/project/nagios, and a tarball for download will appear here http://drupal.org/node/368590 around 8 pm or so.

There is a README.txt with the tarball that explains how to configure the Drupal side and the Nagios side.

This is Drupal 6.x only at present.

Testing welcome. Please open an issue on drupal.org if you find a problem or have a suggestion to improve the module.
