[kwlug-disc] cool tool: ttyd

While this tool is a cool concept, it caused me to pause for a bit.

If this is your local machine on a LAN, where there are no external
threats, you already have the terminal and you can open it, with
authentication (ssh, ...etc).

If this is a remote machine, and you enable a shell on it, that is
a recipe for being hacked fast.

So what are the practical uses for it?
