I will bring my webcam too, but I don't have a tripod or anything for 
stabilizing.

Colin does your D90 plug into USB? Maybe we could even try 2 cameras, 
pointing at the presenter and the audience.

Either way, this would be very interesting to try out. The view of the 
presenter and/or the audience certainly adds some context for the meeting.

And as Mikalai said, we can decide if this is something that goes into 
the video afterwards or not.
