[kwlug-disc] Backup plan for BBB server this month

I apologize for the confusion in my previous email. I realized afterward that I hadn't included all the necessary details.
I don't have the resources for a full BigBlueButton setup, but I do have a Miro Talk P2P instance available for testing at https://meet.nixc.us. It may or may not meet our needs, but it's available to try, and I can keep it running during meeting times if we find it useful. It has a modern, clean interface and supports meeting recording. However, there are some limitations: no video overlay during screen sharing (unless we use OBS) and currently no way to prevent others from sharing their video, which might be an issue.
The system is running on decade-old hardware, so it's not extremely powerful, but it seems stable and straightforward to maintain.
Let me know your thoughts or if you'd like to test it further.
Best,Colin
