We use the true-sine-wave version of this 1500VA unit, see --
https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/product/ups/pfc-sinewave/cp1500pfclcd/
Been using it for at least 6 years now, not a single failure out of a
population of about 225 units.
We are religious of swapping out the batts every 3 years(we feel 2 years is
too aggressive and costly to the clients)
Almost all are used in an MS environment.
Recently-ish, a YT channel, "Mr. Carlson's Lab", did a repaid on an APC
BR1500xx UPS. To his surprise(and mine!), he found that the Copper leads
were horribly "soldered" to Aluminium windings! I checked a dead APC
BR1500MS2 at work and found the same was true of that model.
Thanks to that Carlson vid, no more APC consumer UPSeses used at my office.
I ripped open the transformer of a 2yo CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD and can
confirm Copper windings and leads.
Hopefully CyberPower does not get seduced by the dark side and go the way
of APC with them Aluminium windings.
It was pretty shocking(no pun intended) to see aluminium leads and copper
leads simply twisted together and held in place by Kapton-like tape.
Hope this helps you Khalid and others.
Thanks,
Ron S.
