[kwlug-disc] Bookmark Server (HOme)

It looks like Firefox can be told to save to html each time the browser is closed. I’d probably setup a local git server and have a cronjob that checks in my bookmarks.html and pushes to that. It would have the advantage of git history in case a backup goes wrong or one backup clobbers a bookmark export from another machine. There might be a way to get it to auto-merge bookmarks too.

I’ll see if I can try to get something like this working in a couple weeks. I currently never sync bookmarks and have different bookmarks on different machines. Would be nice to be able to sync then up automatically.
