That is awesome ...

The first mainframe (NCR) that I worked on in 1985 had hard drives that
were only 500MB, and they were somewhat higher than top loading washing
machine ... They had to be powered off using a special sequence and the
maintenance engineers for the vendor were very protective of them because
of expensive spare parts and no other customer using them in the country
(Egypt).

The site had 6 of them for a grand total of 3GB, way much more than most
mainframes in that country at the time.

One failed, and it took several weeks to get the tool to detach a part from
another (something like an Allen key, but specialized).
