[kwlug-disc] A proper live USB stick with persistence

Call me dumb as a stump and half as pretty, but I have a hard time getting
to nirvana - a live USb stick with persistence (MX Linux) that I added
things like Mprime, Nano, OBS, Audacity, Htop, Tlp, Smartmontools, that
sort of thing. I have issues interpreting the programs included on the MX
Linux distro to get there successfully. I will actually try following
DolphinOracle's instructions on YT to see if I get anywhere.

I wonder, would this be a good topic for the newbie portion of the monthly
meeting? I know I would benefit, but am unsure if anyone else would.
