It is worse than that. The kernel mod does not exist ...

# lsmod | grep overlay

# modinfo overlay
libkmod: ERROR ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep: could not open
moddep file '/lib/modules/5.4.51-v7+/modules.dep.bin'
modinfo: ERROR: Module alias overlay not found.

When would I get it?
