Here is a stumper for you lmgtfy fiends. There is a program in UNIX
called calendar. On Debian it is in the bsdmainutils program.

This program consumes text files in a particular format.

Is there a parser for that format that will then generate an ics
feed?

The calendar(1) program parses all kinds of weird date formats, but I
would be satisfied with a parser that handles only simple dates:

Sep 10  Post question to KWLUG

etc.
