I'm still chuckling over the intro paragraph :D
Docker.io vs docker-ce is more of an evolutionary difference - there's
nothing wrong with docker.io, but if you aren't invested in it already, use
docker-ce (https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ce/ubuntu/).
