I am hardly one to promote deals from the likes of Tigerdirect, but this

These Kingston consumer-y SSDs based on TLC cells are inferior to the
Samsung 850/850/960/970 SSDs with their V-NAND cells, but for non-critical
use, these Kingston units are quite good enough.

I just snagged a few to deploy as needed.  Cheap and easy!
