There is zero issue in doing this, and if you ground that copper you’ve made the environment for the network cable even quieter. This isn’t an issue for almost every installation, but it’s worth noting that you’ve effectively shielded a large portion of your cable run.

The biggest issue would be cost. Copper pipe ain’t cheap, yo.
