Hello all. I have been away for a while because I started teaching at Conestoga College and depending on what school you are in it takes over your life. Anyway, the beginner sessions sound like a great idea! I know I could still benefit as I do not work with Linux but have been using it for some time.
I would be happy to give a short talk on how to install Linux on a laptop.
I did give 2 talks in the past, one on Knoppix and the other on converting an OEM installation of Windows 7 into a virtual machine using disk2vhd and running it under Ubuntu.
Just a thought.
Anyway, hope to see everyone at the February meeting.

This way we can bring more rookies into the fold.
