[kwlug-disc] Ebook reading software/hardware favourites?

hi, Any recommendations on the hardware site that is relatively
open in that one can read all formats like epub, mobi on a device
that has a touch screen?

I would like to be able to:

1. Record verbal annotations as I am reading the book and have links be put
into
the ebook I am reading.

2. Ultimately some easy tools that are accessible from within the book
reader
that would convert the audio annotations I have made into text.
