[kwlug-disc] Skype (replacement)

Bob! I neglected to thank you for a wonderful 1st meet with KWVOIP,
certainly educational to me.  Lack of REM sleep made me miss some bits of
that evening, but am sure glad that Keefer mentioned the WIRE solution too.

I have just started playing with it, and working with 3 laptops, 2
wireless  networks, I am seeing pretty decently low network utilization,
but high cpu utilization, fans are in high gear. Bob, I see your point
about the UI, pretty bizarre color choices(poor contrast)  and lack of
informational balloons when hovering over action icons.

Nonetetheless, thus far it sure looks promising!

Was contemplating TELEGRAM, but it seems like a bit of a chore to set up
compared to the dead easy nature of Wire.
Thanks for the offer Bob, will add you shortly, you sir, are a kind man.
On the next KWVOIP meet, if a WIRE guy is available, perhaps we can see
where they are at with the UI and if they are open to suggestions.

Off to play with the IOS and Android clients now, thanks for the help!
