[kwlug-disc] Another germ-related cancellation

How about my usual hobby horses:

* how do we fund open source?
  - does anyone or their employers contribute to FLOSS organizations?
  - how could we get our employers other local orgs contributing?
* local contributions to open source?
  - who is already contributing around here?
  - what things would help you contribute?
