[kwlug-disc] Starcon could use more sponsors

I have just heard back from Starcon. They say that for every $500 in
sponsorship they could increase attendance by about 20 people. But
they are also wanting an answer about what we would be willing to give
by Friday (which makes me a little grumbly given that I contacted them
two weeks ago, but whatever).

So the question: do we have enthusiasm for making some contributions
to the conference? I would be willing to put $200 towards them if I
believed $500+ was feasible. Anybody else?

If you don't want others to know that you are as ostentatiously
wealthy as me you could send me an email off-list.

(And yes, I think it is worth supporting KW Linuxfest if they need it
as well. There is a bigger conversation around financial support
within KWLUG we should be having too. But let's treat those
independently from Starcon.)
