[kwlug-disc] Double OT: Nonprofit Sysadmins, no laptops

We're holding our second ever Nonprofit Sysadmin meetup on Monday,
June 8, at the main Working Centre building (58 Queen Street South).

The main topic will be "desktop updates". We also have some mailing
lists for the group now, so you can subscribe if you are so inclined.
(I probably will not cross-post meeting announcements for much
longer.) 


Also, some of you were asking about the laptop rescue mission.
Interest has been declining, so I was thinking of putting the project
on hiatus over the summer and trying again in September. I am open to
holding some sessions over the summer if there is sufficient interest
(say, 5 or more RSVPs) but it won't happen this Saturday, because I
won't be available. If you are interested in doing some laptop rescue
this summer (say, the first Saturday in July after KWLUG) then let me
know.
