Unlikely. Computers are always right. More likely logic flawed in the programmer. :-)

[More likely - GIGO. If the 'providers' don't consistently / correctly / completely name things, parsers can't identify that a thunk is indeed what it should further process. Which is essentially what Kodi addon developers run in to - sites being scraped from change the URLs / request strings for accessing content, giving the addon developer a constantly moving target they can't keep up with. Easy example, if you set to only fetch H.264 content, and they stop putting H.264 in the name, or go from .mpg extensions to .m4v or .mp4, or vice versa - unhappiness ensues.]

Anywho, reason for posting ...

Cranky was talking about RSS feeds (from eztv.ag?). Charles is talking about torrent triggering / catching.

So I'm confused ... unless, the RSS is actually feeding .torrent's that are then automatically used to trigger fetching of the torrent itself?

somewhere in my script). It was a process for sure. The nice thing about Flexget is that it lets you test your rules before actually running the script, so you can see what would be added before it's added. Flexget basically grabs the torrents and puts them
in whatever folder you specify. You just set Transmission to autodownload from torrents in that folder and you're set.
