[kwlug-disc] Home made indoor TV Antenna

Yeah, the forums and such all say the same thing.

Yes, CKCO is so strong and will come in on anything, even the old abandoned
satellite dish in the backyard.

The two antennas I tried just provide a baseline. Even the lowly aluminum
dish, without the need to go out and buy anything.

CIII (Global) seems like a Toronto channel and yes, it is coming in when
the dish is pointing east, TVO comes in when it is pointing south-ish.

The issue is that I have a large spruce tree and a neighbor's house too, in
addition to distance, elevation, ...etc.

Andrew Kohlsmith has an external antenna with an amplifier, plus he is east
of Chickopee and getting CN Tower stuff. He is several levels up from what
I am doing. Baby steps ...
