Does it matter? [But not saying the question isn't a good one.]
(Assuming your are talking about kwlug, here.)
- we are all volunteers at kwlug, fwiw.
-----
What type of consent should I get from the recipient of my message?
There are some instances were implied consent in allowed:
•There is an existing non-business relationship between sender and
recipient. Includes donations or volunteer work to or for charities,
political parties, and political candidates, as well as membership over
the prior two years in a club, association, or voluntary organization
-----
Once I hit the volunteer stuff, I stopped reading. We all have enough on
our plates.
P.S. Thanks to Jon for the excellent link.
