This is cool.

They have more than one tuner, and they built an app for tablets, so you
can schedule recordings and play back. They also group the recordings by
genre, ...etc.

One thing it does not have is HDMI out. So, to play directly to the TV, you
need a Roku or Chromecast. Even if you have a smart TV with an network
connection, it would not play from Tablo.

And they want to sell you a monthly thing. Not expensive though.

Also, one wonders how much viewing habits and stuff they are doing.
