On GNU+Linux systems you can get a list of CPU capability
abbreviations with

cat /proc/cpuinfo

I did see a GUI application in some distro that expanded all the
abbreviations into full phrases. It may have been a "System
Information" panel in Ubuntu, but I've distro-hopped too much to be sure.
