While I can't advise for or against refurb laptops, I can say that Core 2
Duo 64 bits is sufficient, pretty fast for most things. My current laptop
is such a machine, and so is my wife.
The only thing is that 4GB may not be enough, depending on how many tabs
Flash by default or block them.
