Following up on an old thread ...

If you want to try an inexpensive and compact TV antenna that gets you
a few channels, then consider this Philips antenna, which is amplified.

It is at Walmart for $53

Hanging it up from a 2nd floor window gets me the following channels
consistently:

Real Virtual Call Sign Network
17   6       CIII      Global
13   13      CKCO      CTV
15   11      CHCH      from Hamilton
28   28      CICO      TVO
36   36      CITS      from Hamilton

The following channels come in occasionally, depending on positioning
and not very inconsistent. Probably better positioning will do the trick.

35   ??      CHCJ      CTV Barrie
20   ??      CBLT      CBC Toronto

The quest continues ...
