I got notified of a new kernel, and I did the upgrade the way I always do:

Just using the command: aptitude full-upgrade

 # aptitude full-upgrade
The following packages will be upgraded:

linux-headers-3.2.0-38-generic linux-image-3.2.0-38-generic
  linux-libc-dev openssl
