[kwlug-disc] 'less' without line wrapping?

I don't want to chop, I just don't want to wrap. I'm looking to be able 
to scroll horizontally.

Put another way ... 'chop' reads to me as 'truncate'. You're saying 
'chop' really means "don't wrap"?
