[kwlug-disc] Linux 'equivalent' to Windows 'start' command.

Just type what you want in a terminal window, like if I am in a terminal window and I want to run firefox. I type firefox, and it opens. If you hit <ctrl>+c firefox closes, if you type firefox &Nn then it opens the progran, and returns control to the shell.
