Does the TLER-locking nonsense bite you in these scenarios? My
understanding is that the enterprise RAID drives differ from
consumer-level drives because the firmware in the consumer-drives
locks something called TLER, which makes it much more likely for
drives with small read errors/delays to drop out of the array.
