Unless you were looking for an unlocked device and didn't want to pay an 
extra $15 on a site that you don't trust. That could make or break a sale.

Not everybody knows how to unlock a device and most none technical 
people would much rather buy the "OFFICIAL" unlocked device. They may be 
willing to pay a premium for it, although that would be like paying 
someone to stop pestering you, which would be bad form.
