I was having the same problem and they advised to register with the IP address instead of the DNS, since then I haven't had a single drop of registration.

Subject: [kwlug-disc] OT: Another voip.ms troubleshooting question

I do not have much hope that anybody can troubleshoot this over the
mailing list, but here goes:

We keep losing our voip.ms registrations on a Linksys SPA8000 ATA.
This ATA is similar to the 2102 except that it has 8 ports and not 2.
We have a DID that is using SIP.

The box sits behind a pfSense 2 firewall.

I have tried the following:
- Setting NAT keepalive
- Setting Register Expires to 120 seconds
- Using IP addresses instead of hostnames for the SIP servers
- Changing SIP servers
- Swapping the SPA8000 box
- Fiddling with port numbers

Nothing helps. The box keeps its registration for "a while" (usually
a few days to a couple of weeks) and then the registration drops out.
Naturally, the drops are sporadic, which makes the problem even harder
to troubleshoot.

About the only thing I have not done is trying setting up a voip.ms
DID on a box in some other location. I guess I should try this at some
point, but that DID will not get any usage.

The weird thing is that an Unlimitel DID on the same box holds its
registration. So I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what I should try next?
