[kwlug-disc] Switch between monitors

On my desk I have a plain-old fancy monitor, and on my wall I've got a
big fancy TV. I'd like to set up some sort of opposite-of-kvm device
to allow me to toggle which external display is currently attached.
Does something like this exist? Am I just stuck swapping cables? My
google-fu seems to be lacking today.

Somewhat related, has anybody tried one of those displaylink USB
devices? How well do they work currently on Linux?
