[kwlug-disc] Windows 8 OEM specs may block Linux booting

Maybe it is our own fault.
 
Remember how we complain about the iPhone saying "I don't need to root my PC, why do I have to do it with my Phone".
 
Now MS wants us to have a level playing field with mobile devices. I mean. if its worked for apple and the market does not complain, it may work for MS.
