[kwlug-disc] Still very new - Ubuntu 11.10 -- java

Seems very 'un-Linux-like'. One might have thought they would build a 
better gdebi to include (and make a better gdebi in the process), not 
reinvent the wheel (at a smaller spoke size). Ce la vie, I suppose.
