Well, with Bill C32, the majority of folks aren't going to be affected, or won't care; they'll continue to RIP / DL from Itunes until suddenly Itunes or their poular SW of choice stops ripping CD's that are 'protected'.  Once that happens, we'll see an uproar, but it may be too late then and it probably won't be big enough.
