The hoax that is the subject and beginning of this thread has somehow 
won, even on this list, and gotten legs. A purpose of such hoaxes is 
to clog up e-mail. It has certainly managed to do so, here.

Could we please close this thread.

If there is anything else to discuss, please start a new thread.
