So ... people, generally, is Android worth it? Raul, your impression 
based on observing your son?

Where I'm coming from ...

I'm a Palm user (2nd Treo 680, after I dropped the first, LifeDrive 
before that). I do not, and will not, use data - too expensive. I sync 
the PIM data to Agendus (think korganizer for the Palm) - all Windows 
based. Palm is dead. Current offering may be better, but is web/data 
based, so I won't touch it. I don't expect much better out of HTC once 
they mash it (Palm).

I've been WAITING for a Palm replacement for years. In vain. Is 
Android it? [Significant Palm hardware problem to date - not 
multi-threaded/tasking. Which is only usually a pain in that 
misbehaving apps nuke the 'session' for everything, causing a reset, 
etc. e.g. Notifications get hung up, other apps can't get their 
notifications in, etc., because of the lack of multi-{whatever}.)

The other side of the coin - syncing (wi-fi | usb | bt - NOT DATA)? 
With korganizer?

I keep eyeing Symbian as well, but have yet to be able to confirm what 
it syncs with, let alone non-data wise. I popped over to the site 
yesterday - it seems there's a LOT more hardware out there than the 
one or two models I thought I only saw not long ago. I will never go 
back to a non-physical keyboard device.
