Sometimes conversations loose their focus and become comical.

This one has in more than one way:

- First, some people assume that the fragments of data Google captured are meaningful. I find it risible. They drive for a few seconds in front of a home that coincidentally had an open connection and somehow Google was targeting that data?

- Second, Google has admitted that they were capturing MAC addresses. Some people argue that Google cannot do anything with the MAC addresses. Are we going to start believing that the engineers at Google are a bunch of witless morons and collected MAC addresses without a purpose?

The rest of the conversations are just speculations all as valid as the next one.
